I love to challenge myself by exploring new media and processes whenever I can and I enjoy sharing my skills with others too.

As well as working as a support artist at the Artshack near Shrewsbury I have 20 years of experience of working in schools and other community arts settings with varied groups of people and can adapt my workshops for child, mixed or adult groups.

Although I do not currently practice, I am also a trained art therapist (dipATH Goldsmiths college,University of London) and bring some of the insight and sensitivity gained during training to my workshops if appropriate.

I offer workshops in the following, sometimes using traditional stories/relevant themes or entirely client led, all materials and instruction supplied.

Printmaking: collograph, monoprint with a gel plate and etching without a press.

Mini folded storybooks (mixed media)

Mixed media relief textures and techniques

Creating unique collage papers and starting to explore collage

Watercolours, inks and mixed media, exploring narratives.
